Construction Services
Harrington Engineering, Inc. provides construction assistance and inspection services for water and sewer projects during the construction phase to ensure they are in compliance with their state and local permits. Construction drawings, contract documents and specifications are some of the services provided. At completion of project the engineer will provide certification to state and/or local officials.
Engineering
Services we provide to include site layout, grading and stormwater; subdivisions, residential and commercial; water and sewer design for both residential, commercial and community; stormwater design to include erosion and sediment plans; hydraulics; environmental engineering services to include wetland delineation and wetland mitigation, planning and design; feasibility studies.
Project Funding
Assistance with Vermont Stimulus money applications and processing, engineering planning advances for municipal water and wastewater projects, applications for State Revolving Loan and funding, applications for RCAP Solutions (Rural Development grant and loan funding from federal government).
Permitting
Harrington Engineering, Inc. assists with all permitting aspects of a project to include application preparation, submittal and review in Vermont to include: Act 250 application, Stormwater Permit Application, General Construction Permit, Wastewater System & Potable Water Supply Permit Water Supply Permit to Construct, Conditional Use Determination Agency of Transportation, General Permit/Army Corps of Engineers, Local Planning and Zoning Permit, Local Subdivision Permit, Local Conditional Use Approval.ffers years of experience in the civil engineering profession and prides itself with a long list of longtime satisfied clients primarily in central and southern Vermont.
